Interpreting The Watershed

My earliest mountainscapes were misty ridgelines, Mist in My Heart, far away dreams. I began hiking, camping, and painting in the mountains of Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and New York during college. Always seeking a view from the top of the mountian of lush fields, streams, and meadows below.

As peaks and valleys of life evolved, my paintings reflected back to me all that was mirrored within me. This evolution plays out in my Mountain Dream series, as paintings become rich with symbolism and vibrant colors.
