Interpreting the Landscape

The realization that the aquifer beneath my feet mirrors our own human resources came to me slowly. Exploring the idea, I painted the Aquifer triptych stretching canvases across easels. I felt the mountains framed by sky and the river as I started painting.

With earthy greens and sparkling blues, I expressed my emotions for the mountains and water, and then I felt the aquifer rise beneath my feet. As I return to confront the painting, Oyster and Pearl, I see with clarity messages embedded in the heart, revealed by the paintings.
