Interpreting the Landscape

Painting within the watershed, I painted first in the highlands. The Appalachian Mountains across six states flow through streams, rivers, woodland, fields, ponds, and into the Bay. Painting through every terrain within this aquaculture since graduating college, my portfolio reflects the healing energies of embodying the flow.

While at first, interpretations were literal streams in rocky mountain tops, these soon embodied the flow itself with abstract interpretations of this threshold of human and divine. I include here, examples of each.
