When I first began painting the Land of Plenty series, the meadow appeared far off in the distance. Now four decades later, the fertile meadow, fields, cottages, and flora flourish front and center. At the outset, I thought I painted the landscape 'out there,' only to realize that the 'landscape within' attracted me to paint my own self portrait.

From someone who saw the world as 'never enough,' painting the Land of Plenty transforms everything about life and love ~ from a 'misty wistful wish' to the radiant meadow of life.
